Ours began with this one: why should world-class watchmaking — genuinely engineered, independently certified, and honestly built — be out of reach for those who truly appreciate it?
My name is Justin Moore. I founded Navanos to answer that question.
This is not a polished overnight success story. It is the opposite. More failures than successes, more lessons than wins. But every setback sharpened the standard. And the standard is what you hold on your wrist today.
The Honest Reality of Building a Watch Brand
Anyone can sell a watch.
Source components, apply a logo, package it well. The barrier to entry is low and the market reflects that. There is nothing wrong with accessible watches. But that is not what we set out to build.
Building a true luxury tool watch is a different undertaking entirely. It demands obsessive material selection, COSC-certified movements, 904L stainless steel, sapphire crystals with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, professional-grade water resistance. It demands precision manufacturing to ISO 2768-F tolerances, real-world testing, independent Swiss laboratory certification, and the conviction to back every single claim with documented proof.
Not marketing. Proof.
The horology world is dominated by centuries-old giants with vast resources and instant recognition. For an independent brand, the path is different. Every component must be earned. Every standard must be met. Every claim must be verified, not assumed.
We chose that path deliberately. Because we believed the result would be worth it.

The Ravaro is COSC-certified Independently verified through 15 days of testing across five positions and three temperature ranges. It carries true ISO 6425 certification, confirmed by TIMELAB Geneva, not self-declared, not loosely interpreted, but verified by the same independent institution entrusted with the prestigious Geneva Seal. Its case is forged from 904L stainless steel, machined to ISO 2768-F tolerances. It is rated to 300 meters and individually factory-tested to 400.
